Dwelling (2025)

Dwelling is my exploration into my compulsive hair-pulling, a habit that I’ve had since my early teenage years. It either comes subconsciously in small, repetitive movements that I do to ease my boredom or erratically, burying myself in negative thoughts. These paintings represent my actual room, which becomes a skeleton for the material to reflect the repetition of my anxious behaviors. In these works, anxiety fights to be both hidden and seen.
